Game Two: A Tale of Two Penalty Shots

It was referee Phil "The Whistle" Lacasse who played prominently in game two of the NAHL finals last night at the Doug. Controversial? Without a doubt! Blue had a one goal lead with two minutes remaining in the second period when Lacasse called a "Too Many Men on the Ice" penalty against Blue. Curiously, Lacasse awarded a penalty shot to Green. Green choose reliable sniper Jim "The Big Cum" Commerford to take it.
Cummy did not disappoint as he beat Kenny "Don't Ya Love Em Madly" Bradly high glove side to tie the game. Blue defenseman Ryan "Silky" Brandt was incensed over the call and gave "The Whistle" an earful and was ejected from the game. He then challenged the Green bench, but could get no takers. Blue moved speedy winger Mike "Hipshake" Farelly back to defense to replace Brandt to start the thrid period. "Hipshake" wondered if he was actually "too sexy" to play defense.
If you think he is too sexy to play on the blue line then you should write your congressman and let her know. Apparently Dave "Tilly" Tillotson didn't think so as skated around "Hipshake" and scored to give Green the lead. Minutes later, Tilly' stick whacked Blue's Andy "BTO" Bachmann in the mouth and knocked out five of Bachmann's teeth. Curiously, Lacasse awarded a penalty shot to "BTO".  Kenny "Rebel Without a Rebound" Dean stopped Bachmann who later admitted he was preoccupied with his company's dental plan while moving in on Dean. That was the difference in the game. "Tilly" added an empty netter to seal the deal for Green. The hometown Blue crowd let Lacasse know how they felt. "The Whistle" had to be escorted to his car by police. The first star of the game went to Jim "The Big Cum" Commerford for his success on the penalty shot. The second star was awarded to Dave "Tilly" Tillotson who had the hat trick and two assists. The third star went to "Kenny" who made forty one saves. Mike "The Little Cum" had a goal and two assists and takes over the league scoring lead ahead of Tom "Shemp" Champagne who left game one with a groin pull. He pulled his groin several more times and was unavailable for game two. Shemp dropped from first to thirty seventh in the scoring race. Dave "Tilly" Tillotson moved up fourteen spots into second place while steady Jim "The Big Cum" Commerford remained in third, one point ahead of Tom "TC" Carroll and sixty points ahead of Dan "Too Late" Early and seventy three points ahead of Dave "JP" Palisi.  Andy "BTO" Bachmann is in fifth, just one point ahead of Dunc "Coach" Walsh who is six points ahead of Ken McKinnon and Red Adams on the all time point scores list. Gregg "Moose" Moffet is in seventh , but Dan "Lucky" Luker is moving in on him. He moves into eighth, tied with Tom "Berg" Bergault, Phil "Commish" Stuart, Tom and Todd "Philby" Philbrick and George "Dumpin" Chase. "It's anybody's race to win", said Jack "Jackhammer" Fraiser. "It comes down to who wants "The Swoop" the most."
When it comes to the scoring race; find out if "The Timinator" can surpass "The Cockroach in the CCHL scoring race. Look for the week 17 CCHL recap tomorrow on the Pucking Files.
